Barely in the rearview mirror, the Las Vegas Grand Prix Summit attendees will learn about the leak detection initiatives and contingency planning implemented by LWWD during the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Pilot Pitches

This portion of the programming is uniquely structured to highlight learnings from pilot projects where the adopter and solution provider, together, present the need, the challenge, and the results of projects completed.

A total of four pitches from our esteemed members and technology portfolio companies will be presented in 2023.

AquiSense at SNWA

Priority: Alternative treatment technology for groundwater disinfection

AquiSense is a globally-leading designer and manufacturer of UV-C LED systems for the treatment and disinfection of harmful pathogens in water, air, and surface applications.  This project seeks to pilot and test their UV-LED technology on groundwater wells to demonstrate and validate their UV-LED treatment of Legionella.

Civic Ledger at Seqwater

Priority: Novel technologies for water trading and accounting

Civic Ledger's products and services are in co-creating blockchain solutions with government and industries with expertise in water accounting and trading.  Seqwater has initiated a first-of-its-kind water trading pilot to determine the effectiveness of live and accessible trading as part of the management of temporary trades between water license holders.  

InfoTiles at Anglian Water

Priority: Consolidation of asset and process data across the wastewater network

InfoTiles was selected by Anglian Water to improve current methods of managing the high-volume asset data across their extensive wastewater network. InfoTiles has a software for aggregating, analyzing and visualizing data in real-time to continually assess asset health and improve prioritization of asset maintenance.

Rezatec at MWD

Priority: Earthen Levee Monitoring

Rezatec, an innovative geospatial AI company, is working with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California to track settlement and seepage of earthen levees, while providing broader coverage of vegetation moisture and analysis of incursion issues potentially missed during visual inspections.  

Celebrating Ten Years of Innovation and Impact

To close out 2023, Las Vegas Valley Water District and Southern Nevada Water Authority Deputy General Manager of Operations and board member Dave Johnson will give a special presentation celebrating the 10th anniversary of WaterStart.
